These terms govern use of metrohively.com, which is operated by MetroHive in the United Kingdom (contact: careers@metrohively.com). They explain the service available through the website and the obligations of those who use it. Continuing to use the website indicates acceptance of these terms.
In these terms, "MetroHive", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the website operator; "you" refers to any visitor or applicant; "the website" means metrohively.com; "employer" means an organisation identified for an opportunity; and "listing" means the description of that opportunity on the website.
MetroHive advertises recruitment opportunities and introduces applicants to the employers identified for them. MetroHive is not an employer of applicants. Recruitment decisions, contracts, supervision, working arrangements and remuneration are the responsibility of the employer. Sending an enquiry or application does not form an employment relationship with MetroHive or guarantee that an employer will make an offer.
Each listing is to be read as a whole, including its duties, working arrangements, form of engagement, eligibility criteria and conditions. Vacancies may be filled or altered during recruitment; listings are amended or withdrawn once MetroHive becomes aware of a closure or material change. Inaccurate or inconsistent listings may be reported to careers@metrohively.com, identifying the listing concerned.
Applications are made by WhatsApp message to our HR team via the buttons on the website, and a message is sent only when you press Send. Information supplied must be accurate and relate to you, unless you are assisting another person with that person's agreement. Applicants must satisfy the eligibility and right-to-work requirements of the role. Where WhatsApp is not available to you, an alternative may be requested by email. Employers may require further information or an interview before making any offer.
No application, placement, administration or training fee is charged to applicants, and no deposit is required. The cost of recruitment advertising and introductions is met by employers. MetroHive never requires applicants to purchase cryptocurrency, fund accounts, pay to access work or transfer money for the release of wages. Any such request connected with a MetroHive listing should be reported to careers@metrohively.com.
Pay details apply only to the relevant role and its stated conditions; a pay range does not indicate that all applicants will receive its maximum. Before accepting work, applicants should obtain written confirmation from the employer of its legal identity, the duties and type of engagement, the rate of pay or method of calculation, expected hours or workload, the payment schedule, and any benefits or other material terms. No employment, minimum workload or level of income is guaranteed.
MetroHive is responsible for its own statements and advertising. Employers are responsible for information they provide and for their obligations as employers. Material differences between MetroHive's advertising and the website are reviewed and corrected, and a general disclaimer does not override a specific representation or any statutory right.
The handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The separate policies of WhatsApp and of employers do not diminish MetroHive's responsibility for its own processing.
Users must not impersonate others, submit knowingly false applications, provide third-party information without permission, distribute harmful material, or interfere with the operation of the website.
Website content may be viewed and saved for personal job-search purposes. Any other use, including reproduction on another website or commercial exploitation, requires the permission of the rights holder. Photographs are licensed stock images and do not portray actual applicants or employers.
Apply buttons route through a WhatsApp link service to WhatsApp, and email links open the user's email client. MetroHive does not control these services.
MetroHive does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or that any vacancy will remain open for the duration of an application, and may modify or suspend the website without notice.
These terms do not exclude or limit any statutory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to such rights, MetroHive shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
The website may contain typographical or technical errors, which MetroHive will correct upon becoming aware of them.
A user who breaches these terms, for example by submitting another person's information without consent, is responsible for loss reasonably resulting from that breach, save to the extent caused by MetroHive.
MetroHive is not liable for delay or failure resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including outages affecting hosting, link-routing or messaging providers.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. No delay in enforcing a provision constitutes a waiver of it.
No person other than you and MetroHive has any right under that Act to enforce any of these terms.
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Compliance Statement constitute the entire agreement between you and MetroHive concerning use of the website.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory protections applicable in the part of the United Kingdom where the user resides.
Enquiries and complaints should be sent to careers@metrohively.com together with the relevant listing. Amendments are published on this page with a revised date, appropriate notice is given of material changes, and no amendment affects rights arising from an earlier interaction.
