Compliance and Risk Statement

What this page is for

One page, stating what MetroHive is, which claims it declines to make, and how to report something that looks wrong. Applicants, businesses and advertising platforms all benefit from having that in a single place instead of pieced together from a footer.

Where we sit

MetroHive puts applicants in touch with businesses that have work to offer. The business named in a description is the one doing the hiring; it is never us. We write no contracts, set no schedules, supervise nothing and pay nobody. After an introduction, the arrangement is between you and that business.

Who pays us

Businesses pay to have their roles described here and applicants introduced. Nothing is ever charged to an applicant. This is stated openly because an introduction service that is evasive about where its money comes from invites precisely the doubt it ought to be dispelling.

Promises we decline to make

We do not say an enquiry will lead to work. We do not name an income, a number of hours, or a date by which anyone gets paid. A figure mentioned by a business is that business's figure, and it should be put in writing to you before you act on it.

What is beyond our knowledge

What appears here is what businesses tell us. Inspecting premises, examining accounts and licensing other companies are not functions we perform, and we cannot guarantee a role remains open at the moment you read about it. A description is an invitation to start a conversation, not a warranty of anything.

On money and credentials

No applicant is charged. We will not ask you for a payment, a deposit, bank login details, a card number, a password or a one-time passcode, and nothing in a genuine process requires any of them. A request of that sort carrying this brand's name did not come from us.

What happens to what you send

The privacy policy covers this in full, including every organisation involved and the rights the UK GDPR gives you. Briefly: what you send goes to the business behind the role you asked about, and to the named providers running the hosting, the tag containers, the WhatsApp link service and the messaging. Nobody else receives it.

Our advertising should match this site

Advertising for MetroHive is meant to describe the work in the same terms these pages use. If an advertisement says something the site does not, please send it to us so the inaccurate version can be corrected.

How to report something

Write to careers@metrohively.com, describe what you saw and attach a screenshot if you have one. Where something does not match reality the description comes down and the advertising stops, and what you send is kept confidential.
